Exhibitions

The initiative to organize alternating exhibitions in the Casa Zuccari is in keeping with the tradition of the artist’s house. Consequently, the Kunsthistorisches Institut regularly opens its doors to the City of Florence. Contrappunti is the name of the series of events inviting contemporary artists to explore the place. Erwin Wortelkamp started off the series in November 2006 with his project, Nel giardino delle esperidi – Arance per HvM, dedicated to Federico Zuccari and Hans von Marées. More exhibitions and activities in the Casa Zuccari are being planned.
